They proceed to the basilisk's lair, where the basilisk manages to trap Lapis and Itsuki in a room, and subsequently overwhelms Mikan's protection charm. When the competition starts, Honami and Adilisia try to find the hot spring, tearing the mountain apart in the process. Itsuki and Honami go to a blimp to converse with Lapis, whom Tholoide speaks through.
