
After a Little Mermaid performance, Anna reads about a comedy act performed by her father, Jack Barron, whom she had not seen in a decade. Then she looks back to her childhood memories of him, and the day he left the family. Yet, Anna had maintained contact via correspondence. At a comedy club, they watch his bitter and cynical act, which insults the audience.
