Kagura senses an odd presence and is attacked from behind. She escapes Matako Kijima’s double pistols, but Henpeita Takechi is waiting for her with the ronin he leads. Kagura wreaks havoc, but in the confusion of battle, Matako hits her with a gunshot. Even though her shoulder and leg have been injured, Kagura fights on. Shinpachi sneaks on board Takasugi`s ship and uses the confusion of a cannon shot to successfully save Kagura. Meanwhile, Gintoki is headed to Takasugi’s ship along with Tetsuko, the younger sister of Tetsuya, the creator of the Benizakura.61Insects at Night Gather in the Light2007-06-2125 minGintoki and Nizo battle to the death on the deck of Takasugi`s ship. The anti-battleship weapon Benizakura has infiltrated Nizo`s mind, driving Nizo out of control. Gintoki fights back with a sword forged by Tetsuko. Nizo attacks with overwhelming strength, but slowly, the battle begins to turn in Gintoki`s favor. His job requires him to be on time and fulfill his clients` requests perfectly. The job: pizza delivery. One night, as Zenzo is about to land, Gintoki crashes his scooter into Zenzo`s backside. Ignoring the pain of his hemorrhoids, Zenzo grabs the pizza box to make his delivery. But instead of the pizza box, Zenzo accidentally grabs Gintoki`s Jump. Zenzo`s client, Okuni, takes the Jump and tells Zenzo that misfortune will befall his rear and that he should be careful.64Eating Corn Is Unexpectedly Very Filling2007-07-1225 minKatsura, who is secretly a member of the Joi Faction, is visited by a reporter from the talk show The Edo. Katsura tells reporter Hanano that he wants the citizens to know about the work that the Joi Faction has done and think about what they can do for the country. Meanwhile, Gintoki learns that stag beetles can be sold at high prices and plans to go to the forest to catch some. Kagura says that she wants to catch a stag beetle to avenge Sadaharu 28. The shop`s customers have been lured away by the sweets shop Andromeda, which is across the street. The owner persists in promoting his shop with his enthusiasm for dango. Gintoki learns that Sweets, the owner of Andromeda, is trying to drive Konpeito out of business because he wants the land. Konpeito`s owner won’t agree to Sweets’ proposition, so Sweets challenges him to a competition. Konpeito and Andromeda will invite people to eat dango, and the shop whose dango is most popular wins. He proceeds to a video rental store. When he tries to rent a video, the store employee asks him to show his driver`s license as identification, but as a fugitive, he doesn`t have a license. Meanwhile, Gintoki has gone to a driving school to take lessons after having his license suspended. Gintoki is in high spirits, but a hunter named Marinosuke appears before him and warns him to leave the mountain quickly because it`s dangerous. But Gintoki and the others don`t listen and are intent on finding matsutake mushrooms. Masamune, a giant bear that`s being controlled by a space mushroom, appears before the group! Gintoki and the others escape thanks to Marinosuke. They try to fight Masamune to collect a reward.
